Troubleshooting Questions

Q: How do I measure if the TM-Stabilizer will fit on my deck?

A: Locate the mounting point on your deck/trolling motor, measure from the center-point of the shaft to the flat surface of your boat’s deck. This must be 7.5-9.5 inches to work with our “load on spring” technology. If greater than 9.5 inch please refer to our TM-Spacer (3.25 inch). NOTE: The TM-Spacer is applicable ONLY for the TM-Stabilizer Gen-3 Models. (See Diagram-Below)

Q: The TM-Stabilizer is not long enough; it needs to be longer?

A: We have the solution with our TM-Spacer which works ONLY with our TM-Stabilizer Gen-3 Models. Simply screw the TM-Spacer into the stabilizer’s base for an additional 3.25 inches of lift.

Q: The vertical adjustment button is not working; it will not go up?

A: The vertical adjustment button has an internal locking mechanism when turned at each ½ turn. To unlock this simply turn the (side) vertical adjustment button by a ½ turn while pressing the button. This will allow the button to decompress allowing you to make your vertical adjustments. (See Diagram-Below)
