Compression testing over 2000 lbs of pressure, extended wedge length to aid in higher skeg ride height, withstand extreme hot/cold temps, 10 inner notches to ensure connection to tilt shaft, colored visual surface, and ergonomic design for storage in dry box. High pressure between the wedge and base of engine will not create splitting or damage to the wedge unit.
